About Annotation

Annotation helps the reader really focus on what's really important and helps the reader also come back to the key points later. What I tend to annotate is new concepts that grabs my attention or interesting points that makes me think further. I also write notes on the side of the paper of vocab that I'm not familiar with. When I read articles I know that it's not going to stay in my brain for a long time so I try my best to understand the text fully so I can make use of it.
